A. Grace

Heaven (Eternal Life) is a free gift

"For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord."(Romans 6:23)

IT IS NOT EARNED or DESERVED.

For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9)

B. Man

MAN IS A SINNER.

"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."(Romans 3:23)

MAN CANNOT SAVE HIMSELF.

"Therefore you must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect. (Matthew 5:48)

C. God

God is merciful therefore doesn't want to punish us.

Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.
(I John 4:8)

God is also just therefore must punish sins

"I will by no means clear the guilty"(Exodus 34:7)

"The soul who sins shall die." (Ezekiel 18:4)

D. Christ

Jesus Christ is the infinite God-man.

"In the beginning was the Word and the Word was God. and the Word became flesh and dwelt among us" (John1:1,14)

He died on the cross and rose from the dead to pay the penalty for our sins and to purchase a place in heaven for us.

"All we like sheep have gone astray, we have turned, everyone to his own way, and the Lord had laid on Him the iniquity of us all" (Isaiah 53:6)

E. Faith

SAVING FAITH is trusting in Jesus Christ alone for eternal life.

"Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved." (Acts 16:31)

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. " (John 3:16)
