Revelation 12
1 A great sign appeared in heaven. It was a woman wearing the sun like clothes. The moon was under her feet. On her head she wore a crown of 12 stars.
2 She was pregnant. She cried out in pain because she was about to have a baby.
여인은 이스라엘을, 아기는 예수그리스도를 의미합니다. 하나님은 이미 오래 전부터 세상의 구속을 계획하시고 준비해오셨습니다. 예수님은 그 계획의 중심이었습니다. 하나님은 우리의 삶 가운데 계획하신 것은 반드시 이루시는 분입니다.
The woman represents Israel, and the child represents Jesus Christ. God has been planning and preparing for the redemption of the world from long ago. Jesus is the central part of that plan. God is the one who ensures that whatever He has planned for our lives will surely come to pass.
3 Then another sign appeared in heaven. It was a huge red dragon. It had seven heads and ten horns. On its seven heads it wore seven crowns.
4 The dragon’s tail swept a third of the stars out of the sky. It threw the stars down to earth. The dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to have a baby. The dragon wanted to eat her child the moment he was born.
붉은 용은 사탄을 의미합니다. 사탄은 하나님이 주시는 구원의 계획을 막으려 했지만, 하나님은 사탄을 이기셨습니다. 사탄은 계속해서 하나님의 뜻을 방해하려고 하지만, 결국 하나님께서 그를 물리치십니다.
The red dragon represents Satan. Satan tried to stop God's plan of salvation, but God defeated him. While Satan continues to oppose God's will, in the end, God will ultimately overcome and defeat him.
5 She gave birth to a son. He “will rule all the nations with an iron scepter.” (Psalm 2:9) And her child was taken up to God and to his throne.
6 The woman escaped into the desert where God had a place prepared for her. There she would be taken care of for 1,260 days.
여인의 도피는 우리가 세상에서 고난과 시련을 겪을 때, 하나님이 우리를 보호하신다는 사실을 상징합니다. 예수님은 결국 승리하셨습니다. 그의 삶과 죽음, 부활은 사탄과 악을 이기고, 하나님 나라가 이 땅에 오게 하신 결정적인 사건이었습니다.
The woman's flight symbolizes that when we face trials and struggles in this world, God protects us. Ultimately, Jesus was victorious. His life, death, and resurrection were the decisive events that overcame Satan and evil, bringing God's Kingdom to earth.
우리의 일상은 영적인 전쟁입니다. 사탄은 우리가 예수그리스도와 동행하는 것을 싫어합니다. 물질의 풍요와 쾌락을 즐기는 것은 인간이 원하는 것이고, 사탄도 그것을 방해하지는 않습니다. 오히려 그러한 환경에 빠져서 그리스도와 멀어지도록 합니다. 우리가 조금이라도 더 말씀과 가까이 하고, 성령 충만하게 사는 것은 사탄이 원하지 않기 때문에 방해하려고 합니다. 말씀 안에서 성령의 도우심을 구하며 영적 전쟁에서 항상 승리하는 여러분이 되시기를 축복합니다.
Our daily lives are a spiritual battle. Satan dislikes it when we walk closely with Jesus Christ. Enjoying material wealth and worldly pleasures is what humans naturally desire, and Satan doesn’t usually try to stop us from pursuing them. Instead, Satan tries to pull us into such environments, causing us to drift further away from Christ. When we seek to grow closer to God through His Word and live filled with the Holy Spirit, Satan opposes it because he doesn't want that. I bless you to always seek the help of the Holy Spirit through the Word and to be victorious in the spiritual battle you face.
