Chloe Park, five years old, attended Korean school for the first time last year; she liked it so much that she wanted to go every day. Transitioning from only using Korean at home to speaking English at school was very difficult for Chloe. She is upset because due to the Corona virus, Korean school closed down. Chloe's best friend in Korean school is Yoon-woo. Yoon-woo is very silly and fun to be around.However, Chloe is sad that she hasn’t seen Yoon-woo in a while.
Still, she likes to study Korean writing at home with her mom. She does not get upset if Chloe writes slowly or writes it wrong. Chloe writes prettier with her left hand rather than her right. She practices writing a lot from ‘가’ to ‘하’, and also writes lyrics from the song, “참 좋은 말 (Very Sweet Words)”
Her dad installs a camera so thathe can worship online at church. Last time, she went to church with her dad andused a microphone. Chloe liked hearing her own voice through the loudspeakers.She sang a song called, “당신은 사랑받기 위해 태어난 사람 (You’re Born to be Loved)”. After practicing at home, she sang with a microphone atchurch; She heard her pretty and loud voice, and was so excited and happy. While Chloe was home, she also drew a lot of pictures; Chloe loves drawing fennec foxes. After watching fennec foxes on YouTube, fennec foxes have been her favorite animal. So she wants tobecome a vet when she grows up later. When the fennec fox is sick, she wants to give him medicine to make them better.
Chloe's favorite food is her father’s red pasta. Among Korean food, she likes the green onion Kimchi that her grandmother made. Her parents are busy with work, so there are times they go far. Last Saturday, Chloe was very tired because she stayed all day in her parents' car. So she had a nose bleed in the evening. She was a little scared by the red blood coming out of her right nostril, but she liked it because her parents wiped it clean and were kind to her.
Chloe lives with her parents at home without going to school, but she enjoys studying a lot and getting a lot of love from her parents.
